Gem dependency for authorization browser

Reported by James B. Byrne | September 29th, 2009 @ 10:41 PM

After installing the demo application attempts to run the authorization browser give this error:

Authorization::DevelopmentSupport::Analyzer requires ruby_parser gem

Installing the missing dependency resolves the issue but I believe that the declarative_authorization gem should have this gem set as a dependency.

    Actually, the development backend that requires this gem isn't part of the core of decl_auth. That's why there is no gem dependency to ruby_parser, which would just bloat the installation of decl_auth in most cases. One approach to fix this would be to factor out the backend part and have a separate backend gem, which then would depend on ruby_parser.
